The latest Evangelical Missions Quarterly has an article I wrote on long-haul ministry. It’s a topic that intrigues me as I pass the 25-year mark of ‘full-time Christian service’, and as I look around at those who have done well or who have struggled after decades of such work. It also is relevant to those on the front edge of ministry as they set sail on these seas.
EMQ consistently addresses matters of interest for those who look out past the horizon. Many of the writers are practitioners, too, so what they say comes from experience ‘on the field’, so to speak. If missions turns your crank, consider a subscription to this quarterly; it might be a worthwhile addition to a church library, as well….
